Electron Beam Solutions, Inc. has become an industry leader in rapid turn
electron beam welding. Electron Beam Solutions was incorporated in 1997 and
is located in Ormond Beach, Florida. With over ten years of experience, welding
thousands of individual parts made of metals compatible with the electron beam
welding process, we are proficient in welding stainless steel, nickel alloys, copper,
titanium and aluminum. Our equipment is capable of welding foils as thin as .002
inches and penetrating steel up to half an inch thick. The welders are 3KW rapid
cycle machines with automatic weld repeatability for preset parameters.
Customer-supplied parts are welded in a 3000 sq. ft. air-conditioned facility.
Our customer base includes aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor,
automotive and petroleum exploration.
Our Process
Electron beam welding is a fusion joining process performed in a high vacuum environment. An electron gun produces a finely focused beam of electrons that convert energy to heat upon contact with the target metal. This results in minimal distortion and incomparable weld strength. The stream of electrons is maneuvered and controlled by digital equipment. Programmed to preset parameters, the beam of electrons is capable of producing welds of various forms and shapes. The vacuum chambers reduce contaminants while producing a stronger and cleaner weld. The fusion of the base metals eliminate the need for filler metals.
